Talk to us
Pricing questions, custom plan requests, security reviews, migration help, partnership ideas, or a walkthrough of how your team would actually use LinkSwapy. We read every message.
One business day for a reply, usually sooner. If we are not the right tool for what you are describing, we will say so.
Send us a message
We reply within one business day, usually the same day for sales questions.
Getting a useful answer
What to put in your first message
We can give a much better answer to a specific message than a general one, so here is what actually helps. None of it is required, and a one line question is fine too.
How many clients or websites you are running link building for. This is the single most useful number, because it maps almost directly to a plan tier and to whether the workflow we have built matches yours. Six retainers is a different conversation from one in-house brand with four product lines, even when the link volumes are similar.
If the honest answer is that nobody has verified your links in months, say so. That is the normal situation, not an embarrassing one.
Roughly how many live placements you are responsible for, and whether anyone has verified them recently. If the honest answer is that nobody has checked in a while, say that. It is extremely common, it is the situation the product is built for, and it changes what we would suggest you do in your first week rather than being something to be embarrassed about.
What you use today. A spreadsheet, a sales CRM bent into shape, a backlink monitor, or some combination. Knowing what you are moving from tells us which parts will feel familiar and which will not, and it tells us whether a CSV import will cover your migration or whether you have data trapped somewhere awkward.
The specific thing that made you get in touch. There is almost always one: a client found a dead link before you did, a partner stopped reciprocating and nobody noticed for months, reporting week keeps eating three days, or someone left and took the context with them. Tell us that story and we can be concrete instead of showing you a tour.
And if you have a constraint that would rule us out, lead with it. Single sign-on requirements, a data residency rule, a budget ceiling, or a procurement process that needs annual invoicing. Finding that out in message one is better for everybody than finding out after two calls.
What people write in about
Six common reasons to reach out
Roughly in order of how often they come up, with what tends to happen next.
Which plan do we need
Usually answerable in one reply if you include client count, seat count, and link volume. The limit that binds is rarely the one people expect.
Migration from spreadsheets
Send a sample sheet with client data removed. We will map the columns to the import format and flag the parts that will need cleaning up.
Custom or enterprise terms
Seat counts beyond Agency, single sign-on, API access, or a bespoke monitoring cadence. All Scale conversations.
Security and procurement
Questionnaires, provisioning requirements, and invoicing terms. Send these early, because they often determine the tier before features do.
Does it handle our deal type
Three way exchanges, ratio deals, insertions, and paid placements are all modeled. Describe your arrangement and we will tell you which type it maps to.
Partnerships and referrals
Nothing formalized yet. Tell us what you have in mind and we will give you a straight answer rather than a maybe.
Before you book a call
Two things worth trying first
A demo is genuinely more useful once you have poked at something. Not because we want to filter people, but because the questions get sharper: it is much easier to talk about how return link balance should work across your clients when you have already computed one partner's balance by hand and noticed what it does not tell you.
So first, run something through the free tools. The balance calculator takes ten seconds and will tell you whether one of your exchange partners is ahead. If the answer surprises you, that is the conversation to have with us, and if it does not, you may not need the reciprocity half of the product at all.
Second, take the spreadsheet template and spend twenty minutes backfilling your actual placements into it. This is the step that reliably changes people's minds, in both directions. Some find the exercise trivial and conclude they do not need software yet, which is a good outcome and we would rather they reached it before paying. Others get four rows in, realize they cannot find the contact for a placement from last year, and understand the problem more concretely than any demo would have shown them.
Then book the call, and bring whatever went wrong during those twenty minutes. That is the most productive version of this conversation, and it usually takes closer to ten minutes than twenty.
Useful before a call
- Run the balance calculator on one real partner
- Backfill ten placements into the free template
- Note how many you could not find a contact for
- Check three old links by hand and see what you find
- Skim the pricing page for the limit that would bind first
What happens next
After you hit send
No sequences, no drip campaign, no eight step nurture. This is the whole process.
- 1
A person reads it
Every inquiry lands in a shared inbox that a human works through. Sales questions get picked up fastest, and anything about migration or security gets routed to whoever can answer it properly rather than answered quickly by whoever is nearest.
- 2
You get a reply within one business day
Usually with an actual answer rather than a request to book a call. If your question can be answered in an email, we will answer it in an email.
- 3
A call only if it helps
For plan questions and yes or no feature questions, email is faster for both of us. Calls are worth it for migrations, custom terms, and cases where you want to see the workflow against your own data.
- 4
A straight answer about fit
If you describe a situation we do not serve well, we will tell you. Under 50 links on one client, for example, gets pointed at the free template. Selling a subscription to someone who will churn in two months is worse for us than not selling it.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
How quickly will you reply?
Within one business day, and usually the same day for sales questions. If you have sent something detailed about a migration or a security review, expect a considered reply rather than an instant one, because a fast answer to those questions is rarely a useful answer.
Will a demo be a sales pitch?
It is a sales conversation, so let us not pretend otherwise. What we try to avoid is the slide deck version. The useful shape is you describing how link work currently moves through your team and us showing the two or three screens that touch that specific problem, or telling you that we are not the right fit.
Can you help us migrate off our spreadsheets?
Yes. Send us a sample of your current sheet, with client data removed if you prefer, and we will tell you how the columns map to a CSV import and where the messy parts are. Most migrations are a straightforward import plus an afternoon of tidying, and the common snag is placements recorded at domain level rather than with the specific URL. See when the sheet stops being enough.
We need a custom plan. Who do we talk to?
Use the form and mention custom, or write to us directly. Custom terms usually come up for one of four reasons: seat counts beyond Agency, single sign-on requirements, API access for warehouse reporting, or a monitoring cadence that does not match the standard tiers. All four are Scale conversations.
Our security team has a questionnaire. Will you complete it?
Yes, and it helps to send it early rather than after your team has already picked us. Single sign-on and SCIM provisioning sit on Scale, which is often the first question a security review asks, so worth flagging your requirements in the first message.
Do you offer agency or reseller partnerships?
We are open to conversations, though we would rather be honest that partnership programs are not formalized yet. If you are an agency that would put this in front of clients, tell us what you have in mind and we will give you a straight answer about whether we can support it properly right now.
Can I ask a link building question that is not about your product?
Genuinely yes, and people do. If you are stuck on how to model a three way exchange or whether a domain looks like a network, ask. Worst case we point you at whichever of our free tools or templates covers it. See the glossary.
